shattered reflections

all my mirrors have broken
the who I have been
told in the reflections of the others I have known
is now rent asunder
and I am left
unrecognizable

no brother, I
no sister
no son
motherless, me
no daughter
no father

alone, I
after all
who am I
when all the others have left
smashing my selves in their wake

when it is merely me
surrounded by shards of glass
and my feet are bare
