An iOS Travel Organizer Application

Are you someone who loves traveling? Do you organize your travel plans? Is collecting all those plans into one app a helpful solution? And finally, would you benefit from seeing someone else’s travel plans? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the app you are looking for.

* This article assumes you have an iPhone, and have already downloaded the app.

Step one
Create an account using a valid email address, unique username, and secure password. Once your registration is complete, you should be taken to the profile screen.

Step two
Click the “Update Profile Image” link to add an image from your phone’s camera roll. When you are satisfied with your profile image, tap the < Back button to navigate to the main view. If you end up on the home view before the profile (there are some cases for this) then simply tap your email address in the upper section to get to your profile.

Step three
When you are on the home view you should see your profile at the top. Just below that, there is a section where you can explore other user’s public trips. And finally at the bottom is a list of your trips. If you would like to see someone else’s trips, just tap on the picture. Scroll left to see more trips.

Step four
Make a trip for yourself. This part might seem a bit weird at first, so let me help you with that workflow. Tap the + at the top left of the screen to make a new trip. Enter a valid destination and tap save. This will bring you to the trip detail view.

Step five
This is the fun part. Tap the placeholder image at the top to make a cover image for your trip. By using a valid destination that is known to the internet, you should have a selection of nice images to choose from. Then add your dates of travel, and any hotels, and sites you plan on visiting. If you would like to add some notes to yourself, there is an area to allow for that. When you tap Done, you should be taken back to the home view where you will see your trip. If you want to make it public, click the icon at the top left of the detail view before hitting Done. Or just simply go back to the trip by selecting it from the home view, and share it then. You are not required to share your trip, and you can share it anytime you are ready.
