The field trip of the Weather Network Company
Last week I missed the Weather Network’s field trip. However, Ivy sent me some materials to help me knew this company. After sawing these pictures and videos, I was impressed by the working environment, the excellent jobs they did, and then came out some thoughts.
The Weather Network is one part of Pelmorex Corp. Company. They blend science, technology and creativity to produce leading multi-platform weather and weather-related information services. Their products include the websites, applications, and specialty television networks. The Weather Network has powerful experience in their industry. They are extremely comprehensive with data analysis, daily forecasts, video on demand, satellite and radar maps and more. As we see, there are many screens and professional equipment in the picture above to help them do the jobs better.
Then my classmates experienced the daily work of a weatherman, like how they reported the news without a map or prompter. My classmates only stood in front of the green screen to indicate the weather and pointed out the location on the invisible map.
The weather network is a very professional weather forecast company. I’ve never seen the weather forecast process before this time. The work what they did impress me so much.
