First reading Jonah 1:1-2:1,1

Gospel Luke 10:25-37

From Jonah,
The chosen one,
To the,
Good Samaritan.

From the one,
Who ran away,
To one who,
By the wounded stayed.

Who do you think,
Was the neighbour?
Saving the wounded,
By his labour?

Standing apart,
From the Priest, Levite,
Tending the wounded,
Through the night.

And who for the care,
In the morning, paid,
On my way back,
I'll pay more, he said

From all characters,
He stood tall,
Priest, Levite,
Who received God's call.

And became the symbol,
Of neighbourly love, charity,
Being your duty,
Responsibility.

Jesus responded to the Lawyer,
For Eternal Life,
Go,
Do likewise.
