Whether you love them or not, or whether you think their music is overrated, you can not disagree on one simple argument: The Beatles have changed the world.

The beginning

All stories start here, so why not this one? There is an incredible amount of circumstance weaved into this tale. And Ive got the time to unravel all of it and I will slowly. Lets go back to August 2017

I had just had to scramble to find a place to house my business, a CrossFit gym. We had been kicked out of a space we were renting from, well because he wanted to start copying us and had to get us out first. We were given 30 days. 30 whole days to find a place, negotiate a lease, purchase equipment, and get the place built out and ready to work out of. It was a hectic time. We did it though.

I will at this junction state that I am religious, believe that God, as a father loves us and is directing a plan for us all to be happy. Although we may not understand who, what, where, amd why most the time.

Getting kicked out didn’t feel like a blessing. The timing was horrible, we werent making enough money yet to afford anything very nice or big. And we had zero time.

The place that we found is in a small retail center in the midle of 10,000 houses. But the landlords were reasonable and wanted a fitness business in the place. So we got a steal. And have made it work.

A few months earlier a gym client was having puppies. She basically gave me one. He got old enough to be outside with other dogs just about the same time, August. And he spent the day with me in the gym. He is a Cane Corso, mastiff and is going to be big. Is black, and needed to be behaved so as to not scare new customers away. haha

Lucky for me there was a dog park within walking distance of the gym. And since the gym isn’t busy from like 9:30 am to 3pm I had some time to kill. So as soon as he was done with shots we were there everyday. He was very shy and scared at first as are most puppies in the park. I knew what he was going to be so we went right for the big dog side from day 1. (a glimpse maybe into my parenting style) It wasn’t too long before he was getting comfortable with the dogs and not just hiding the whole time. A few weeks if I remember correctly. About the time he started wrestling and playing with other dogs. A new dog started to come to the park. A border collie, grown, but still shy and she would hide under the bench and her owner (pets don’t have human Moms!!!) sat on the bench over her and would stay with her far away against the fence. Soon though like all dogs she got more friendly and soon Tilly and Kilo became the best of pals and Tilly’s owner could start spending more time with the other humans.

Have you ever seen Best in Show? Well you may be able to imagine that the same variety of dog owners are at the local park. And I soon found the “cool” kids and we would sit together and talk. It took a while before She started to sit with us. She seemed more comfortable standing or walking around watching her dog. The first interaction I remember with her is when A little white terrier named Koda jumped up and stuck her nose in The womans mouth. The joke she made then and for the next several days was, that was the most action she has gotten in weeks. haha My eyes rolled.
